Nardi has designed an equipment for thermal treatment at high temperature of the wood that is different from other types (e.g. Thermowood®).
The treatment process is performed in saturation steam at high pressure.
The advantages of this technology are: The wood is not dried at 0% moisture but maintains its initial moisture.
The cracks, collapses are avoided and the final material has much better mechanical and aesthetic characteristics.
The treatment cycles are shorter resulting in significant savings of time and energy.
